Christelle Debarnot, S’tell photographies

Life is made up of beautiful encounters. I’m lucky to be able to practice a profession that allows such encounters, and meeting Christelle was definitely one of them. In this site you will find a Brancion’s photothat first made me aware of her art, and ever since I’ve felt the visual fascination for life’s simple, self-evident things that she carries through her lens.
Christelle will be exhibiting some of her work in Cluny at our premises. Feel free to come and enjoy them in a place that has been, it has to be said, more than a little designed to display her art.

The history of Cluny Abbey merges with that of medieval Europe. Its network of Cluniac sites bears witness to a unique cultural heritage unknown today. The idea behind an encyclopaedia of Cluniac knowledge using new technologies was to publicise the role played by Cluny and the Cluniac sites in our history, and thus help to preserve and promote both the tangible and intangible heritage that reflects this.
Clunypedia is both a medium and a unique platform to strengthen a certain European cultural identity.
